Beach Carnival that hold on last Sunday reminds me about the long missing "recap December 2010" . I've uploaded these two photos and this entry was in my draft since 3 months plus ago. T___T

We have 4 men doubles and 2 female doubles joined the fun during 2010. It was so fun when Hui Yin and I beat the high school team like 21 vs 18. We never thought of winning any game. It brings us to second round and our next opponent is like duno which state's state player. So the game ended there. LOL.

#1 The very first beach volleyball that we took part (2010). Sorry, this is a no bikini's beach volleyball. >.<

So it marked the end of 2010. I would like to share some fun on Beach Carnival 2011 that I took part last week.

#3 Ok here we go : 2011 Beach Carnival. We haven't practice in double since 2010. We just got to play around last Thursday just because YL left earlier. We never wish to win the title, we just want to get our self tan skin. At least this apply to me! LOL.

#5 The team is getting smaller. Only 3 teams from Monday regular player this year.

This year we got to play the first game again. This time so so lucky because we got to play with last year finalist. LOL. We lose by 4 points 21 vs 17. So we are done by 9am in the morning. LOL! Gonna do it again next year!

I've been keep youtube-ing/google-ing on both pen ad gf2. To be honest, I've decided on pen since beginning because of the design? Ya oh ya, because it is white!

Nevertheless, pen is really powerful! I'm still working on getting familiar with the options and settings! I was scolded by a friend of mine because I turned to i-Auto mode when I wanted to snap on something. =P

It was a very busy month as I'm start preparing my trip back for good! Busy with last minute shopping, filling up shipment forms, counting on number pieces of cookware, clean house, throw away empty boxes that took me almost 15 rounds walking up and down etc etc..

# 1 The last road trip in United States. Visited Glacier Point @ Yosemite for the first time. # 2 The goods that ready to be shipped # 3 Mum complained the apartment was too full and she found hardly walk!! # 5 The few days before my flight, we decided to watch the NBA - Lakers vs Sacramento Kings.. I'm not fans of NBA, just the kiasu-ness brings me for watching this.. # 6 A must take photo inside Arco Arena- The ticket was pricey! # 7 Many thanks to whoever coming, and whoever rushing to join and whoever wish me when I get back to office. This is the 'last' day meeting up with the team. # 8 The another side of the table # 9 People working at Willow Spring are very nice and kind and friendly. When I told the lady that I'm heading back for good.. She asked me the question with her eyes rolling : Huh? You are not coming back anymore? I wish to help you take packet again. :( # 10 It's time to start clean up the apartment. Found all these empty bottles! # 11 Hey and Bye 1223

Supposed to gone back on 7th Nov... The domestic flight got delayed because of some technical issues. It affected my connecting flight in LA. Arhh. The next available date for the connecting flight was 4 days later.. UA compensated me with one night stay in Sacramento. I decided to drive back to the same old place on the next day. Checked in to larkspur and gone back to office. The boss saw me and said: Welcome back but we are not going to have another farewell lunch for you! (Humorous boss)

I was falling sick on the first day I gone back to Folsom. :( It was very sick until I feel dizziness and refuse to board the plane. I got my flight ticket delayed another 4 days. I've seek for medical consultation for the very first time in Folsom. The experience was great! You have to call and make an appointment first. Some medical consultant might only take old patient so you have to call to make sure. It was super expensive for first time patient. It costs ~125USD per visit and medicine is not included! You have to hand pick the medicine from Walgreen's.

#12 Taken at RI before my flight. I was so eager to back home. Many thanks to people that helped me throughout the week. # 13 Finally.. The Cabin @ HKIA.

The moment I touchdown in Penang, I have very strong feeling to cry out loud.. During sickness, my brain not functioning, so I wasn't able to work. Lying down and rest, things that happened throughout the year flashback in my mind. It's about the time confront with what I've avoided. Seeing mum in a newly bought dress waving her hand with a smiling face standing at arrival hall, my heart melted.

# 14 The shipment arrived safely. I can smell Willow Spring when I unpack the stuffs. :)

It was very hot during October. The weather is super hot like Penang, but the sweat always dried off very fast so you will not have the sticky feeling on your body. This is something I like about the States. I really love the sunshines during Summer.

We spend our weekend on this giant pumpkin festival @ Elk Grove. We took our all time favourite Fuji sushi buffet before joining the fun.

Jess found good reviews on this place called Gott's Roadside @ Ferry Building Marketplace. We give it a try on the next day.

The weather forecast doesn't seems good to picnic at Lake Tahoe. Well, the food is ready so we head up to Lake Tahoe.

Me and mum were really busy shopping on getting new cloths and cookwares. The most favourite place is still Ross. Mum likes it so much. If not mistaken, I think half of my shopping expenses throughout the whole trip was made at Ross. Besides, we shop quite often at Folsom Premium Outlet.

It's time to prepare mum's return to Penang. This is something feeling worry more then feeling sad. We have a very good experience when driving back Folsom from San Francisco which our car get caught by policemen at San Francisco Highway because of driving 70mph. Wuahaha!

I'm going back home in 2 weeks time. Yay! The feeling was so complicated at that moment. I do miss home and friends in Penang. Meanwhile I have to collect piece by piece on something I've avoided throughout the year. Start preparing myself to leave this place that occupied my 2010.

I've a trip back to Penang on September. I've make a very serious decision by putting myself under a long term debt. It's hard at the beginning stage where you will feel always not having any saving after every month pay in. But, I am still counting day by day for it...

Other then that, I think September was the most terrible month in year 2010. I have to collect piece by piece, day by day throughout September. Bad things surrounded me. Waking up with a lot problems in mind really make me so so depressed. I've found the way out by keeping myself occupied. Many thanks to the mum who flew with me on September.

Since most of them have gone back to Penang, I've nothing much to do so I spend my weekend cooking Bak Kuh Teh at home. But...

#1 Burned my own chopping board, so cute isn't it? Wahahahahah!!

Huey Fen was on her business trip a week later. Our initial plan is to join Santa Clara's gang for BBQ but somehow I'm stucked because of the work! So I met up with them at China Town on the next afternoon.

We spend a night at Santa Clara. On the next day, Hooi Kar brought us to visit Stanford University and Intel Headquater!

Nothing much on August as the work was getting busier. :( Preparing home!

July was a sad month for me. Seeing people gone back one by one with their leftover foods and sauces filling up my empty and lonely apartment.. :(

But before they gone back, we visited Sequoia National Park and Apple Hill.

Started the month by doing potluck for the very first time at my apartment. All of us staying at Willow Spring except Ming Yi who was on his business trip. Everyone of us contributed at least 1 dish and it turned out perfectly.

Daniel was on his business trip in Folsom during June. We came out a plan to visit Death Valley National Park. This desert valley gave me the impression of VERY HOT and SWEAT A LOT!

We then decided to take lobster mee at San Francisco China Town as our lunch. We are so lucky that we bumped into Soul Of Pride 2010 which is one of the biggest gay parade in the town. :D

那年陪老爸去抽血
兴致勃勃地说要陪他
看护士把针头刺了下去
头就开始晕眩
苍白着脸跑到外头
老爸抽血出来
还紧张到处找我

我在想
到底我是怕那些医疗用具
还是怕痛怕血
还是我在心疼自己爱的人

一定是后者
虽然我打预防针也会晕到一片漆黑

There are barbecue grills ready for use located at playground area at Willow Spring. We decided to give it a try. Some of us went to Winco foods for the ingredients while others start preparing for the night.

It's about time for mum to fly back after a month in the States. She likes Folsom, the weather and the people here. Of course seeing the daughter doing well oversea is something comforts her the most.

We've visited Hooters for the very first time before I went back for my home trip. Everyone was so excited and I found it funny when Zhi Feng can't really concentrate when making an order with Dani. LOL.

After sorted out my photos only I realized I didn't travel much during March'10. By the way, March is my birthday month. Not really celebrating but we were having lobster porridge @ San Francisco for the first time at that night with Hui Ping, Ming Yi and Lin Minh. In the next morning, I have a bunch of my friends skype with me and sing me birthday song with claps and cheers. Really appreciate it. :)

Chinese New Year Reunion

This is the first time my sister came back for Chinese New Year since 1996. This is the first time I got the red packet from her too. 12 days staying in Malaysia not really enough though. :)

Although we are being separated by distances and age gap, from the bottom of my heart, the feeling is yet so warm and familiar. I've lost count on how many times we've been standing outside of the immigration gate in Penang/KL/Nagoya airport and wave our hands to each other while we have no idea when can see each other again. Seriously, this Chinese New Year is the best so far because we have you to celebrate with us. Love you as always. :)

It was a great experience though. I was given a great opportunity to travel for 11 months!
